Terms of Use
1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the learning platform Stacktags (the "Service"), available at stacktags.eu, and its associated apps. By registering for or using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. Provider
The provider is Tim Julian Schütz, Odenwaldstraße 16/1, 74821 Mosbach, Germany. Contact: info@stacktags.io. For full details see the legal notice.
3. Minimum age
The Service is intended for people aged 16 and over. By using it you confirm that you have reached this minimum age.
4. Account
To use the Service you create an account. You are required to keep your credentials confidential and to report any misuse of your account to us without delay. Only one account per person is permitted.
5. Services provided
Stacktags offers learning content, exercises, multiplayer games, AI-assisted content generation and chat features. Certain features are subject to a charge (e.g. cards, premium subscriptions). Paid features are clearly marked before purchase.
We reserve the right to develop, change or discontinue features to the extent this is reasonable for you.
6. User obligations
You undertake not to misuse the Service. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- post unlawful, insulting, discriminatory, violence-glorifying or pornographic content;
- infringe the copyright or personality rights of third parties;
- distribute spam, phishing, malicious code or automated scripts;
- harass, threaten or deceive other users;
- circumvent security measures or use the Service through interfaces we have not approved.
Violations may lead to the suspension of your account and the deletion of content. We report criminally relevant incidents to the competent authorities.
7. User-generated content
You retain the rights to the content you create in the Service (e.g. learning entries, folders, chat messages). You grant us a simple, worldwide, royalty-free right of use to store and display this content for the purpose of operating the Service and to pass it on to other users you make it available to (e.g. public folders, shared lessons).
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the content you post.
8. AI-assisted content
Stacktags uses AI models (e.g. Gemini) to generate exercises, answer options and evaluations. AI-generated content may be incorrect, incomplete or inappropriate. You use this content at your own responsibility. We give no guarantee as to the factual accuracy of AI-generated output.
9. Paid purchases & subscriptions
Purchases (cards, premium subscriptions) are processed via Stripe. A contract with the provider is concluded upon completion of the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, in the settings.
Right of withdrawal: As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. For digital content the right of withdrawal expires once performance begins, provided you have expressly consented and confirmed that you are aware of your right of withdrawal. You receive a withdrawal notice during the ordering process.
10. Availability
We strive for the highest possible availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows and outages at third parties (e.g. hosting or AI providers) may cause temporary restrictions.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the provisions of the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee given. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded.
12. Termination & suspension
You can delete your account at any time in the settings. We may suspend or delete your account if you breach these terms or if there is good cause.
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms of Use where this is necessary to adapt to changed legal conditions or to further develop the Service. We will inform you of material changes in good time by email or within the Service. You may object within 30 days; in that case use of the Service ends when the period expires.
14. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers resident in the EU, mandatory provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Should any provision of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
